Clearer websites for people whose work depends on trust.

I design and build new websites for independent professionals and local small businesses, with a focus on clarity, structure, and making the work feel as credible online as it is in real life.

Where should contact appear?

A good website does not need to shout.

It needs to make the right things obvious: what you do, who it is for, why it matters, and how someone can take the next step.

Understand quickly

Visitors should not have to decode your site. The first screen should make the business clear.

Feel credible

Design is not decoration. It shapes whether the visitor feels calm, confident, and willing to keep reading.

Know what to do next

The best websites reduce hesitation. They make the next step easy without pushing too hard.

Process notes

What I look for before changing the design.

Before adding polish, I look for the places where the site is making the visitor work too hard. The design follows the diagnosis.

  • What has to be clear on the first screen?
  • What can be made shorter, calmer, or more direct?
  • Where does the visitor need more evidence before reaching out?
  • Which sections only exist because a template expected them?
  • What should be easier to find on mobile?

Ways I can help

New sites, built around what the business needs to say and do.

I build new websites that feel more understandable, more considered, and easier to share.

Build a new site

For independent professionals and local businesses that need a credible place to send people.

Replace a site that no longer fits

For businesses on something dated, unclear, or hard to share, who want a new site built properly rather than patched.

Websites for trades

New trade and service-business websites with optional quote, intake, booking, and estimating workflows.

Clarify the message

For businesses that know what they do, but struggle to explain it simply online.

Improve the contact path

For sites where visitors can read, but do not know what to do next.

Prepare for launch

For people who need the structure, writing, design, and basic setup ready to share.

Pricing

No upfront build fee for most small sites.

For standard small-business websites, I usually roll the design, build, hosting, maintenance, and support into one monthly plan instead of charging a large upfront build fee.

The monthly plan covers more than putting pages online. It includes the planning, setup, and ongoing care that most business owners do not want to deal with.

I help figure out what the site should say, what imagery to use, how the services should be structured, and how the mobile version should work.

I also handle the technical side: domains, DNS, email, forms, analytics, deployment, maintenance, updates, form testing, and support when something needs attention.

Most standard small-business sites are C$199/month for 12 months, with no large upfront build payment. After the twelfth payment, the website is yours. If you would rather own it from the start, it is C$2,200 upfront.

During those first 12 months the plan covers the build, hosting, technical maintenance, reasonable text and photo edits, form testing, security updates, help with domain and DNS issues, and support. After the first year, continued website care is optional at C$69/month.

Trade and service businesses can also add a quote and estimate workflow to the site. Pricing for that is on the trades page.

Larger sites, more complex features, and custom functionality are quoted separately.
